Shaping the future workforce
As part of our work to address the skills and hiring challenges facing the industry we’ve worked with the Newcastle United Foundation to develop some groundbreaking virtual reality experiences to immerse people in the vibrant world of the visitor economy.
Using state of the art VR headsets and 360 degree filming at some of the region’s key tourism and hospitality assets, learners and job seekers can now experience a career in the North East’s visitor economy in a unique, virtual environment. The headsets allow users to explore locations as though they were there and interact with real workers.
